im a completly new user of ubuntu 9.10 (karmic) on my netbook eeepc 1008ha.
So i have a problem with lithuanian MEZON Wimax 4G. when i had windows xp it was ok. now is no working more, so i dont now how to instal it. the USB is Seowon Intech, Model SWU 3220A (3,5G).

Mezon did have a site for patch in linux, though I see that it is down at the moment.
Another solution for getting Mezon adapter working:
Mezon uses WiMax, there's a package in Ubuntu for that: http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/madwimax
and patch for Mezon: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=25614
i have already this package from ubuntu, actally the ubuntu say a new version is avilable.
im now on this 2 page with mezon patch, but i have no idea how to instal this patch, i got whole package, this ar 3 files txt... what to do with them??? sorry im really amateur in linux, first steps...
Personally I haven't tried that patch out (since I don't own any Mezon adapters at all), though I think that you should download the tarball from the patch website and simply install it by:
yea i bough it in panorama but the girl there has no idea about more than windows. so i ll try to call the helpline and make maybe a eeting with some specialist.
and u dont know nobody in vilnius who is good in linux??
